Using small grants from ASW, AP and Rockflower WAP is helping the communities of Epworth and Chitungwiza to avoid the virus by printing and handing out information from the WHO and other leading health institutions. Our ambassadors have also distributed small parcels (soap, cooking oil, face masks and Mealie-meal) to over 100 families. The soap that girls are distributing is “Clean Girl” soap that we produced before the pandemic. In every visit, our girls remind families of the importance of social distancing, washing of hands, not touching eyes, mouth, and nose to mitigate the spread of this virus. (2020-)
